Larry Todd Vanderpool is a teacher and songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee. He studied history at the University of Central Florida where his focus was on 20th century music and its influence on race, class, culture, and gender. He was Yankee born but southern grown. Born in Towanda, Pennsylvania Todd was raised in Melbourne, Florida where the eclectic mix of race and culture helped shape his personality and life view. Todd has a passion for country, bluegrass, and Americana music and believes music has a unique power to influence the hearts and minds of human beings in both positive and negative ways.
