Elvis Costello Performs National Ransom at NY Public Library

Back in November, Elvis Costello performed an exclusive show at the Celeste Bartos Forum in The New York Public Library’s world-famous Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. The evening was a celebratory kickoff for his latest effort, National Ransom (our choice for #1 Album of 2010), and, along with The Sugarcanes, Costello ran through most of the album (as well as “Blame It On Cain” from his debut way back in ’77). Featured here are “Slow Drag With Josephine” and the title track. (Scroll past the video for the full setlist.)

The show was taped for an upcoming episode of PBS’s Live from the Artists Den.
